We have been mining the Las Choyas Geodes since
1966 (view Choyas mine pictures).
These Geodes are guaranteed to have a hollow pocket inside.
You will tend to get some type of quartz inside, like clear
quartz, smokey quartz, or amethyst. There are also many secondary
crystals such as goethite, hematite, mordenite, and calcite.
In rare cases you could find apatite, stalactites, galena crystals
and many more minerals. It is truely a surprise everytime. We
offer these geodes whole meaning they are not broken nor cut
open. We offer the option of cracking them in half with a cast
iron pipe cutter for a small fee. |
